Julia Vorobiova, PhD (St. Petersburg, Russia)

Interpreter and translator, Julia Vorobiova received her PhD from St. Petersburg State University (Dept of English Philology) where she taught until recently. Starting in 2007 she has worked as administrator of the Critical Languages Scholarship Russian Institutes in Russia, partnering with Astrakhan State University, St Petersburg State University, The Baltic State Maritime Academy (Kaliningrad), and Samara State University. Beside English, Julia speaks French and Serbo-Croatian. Along with that, Julia enjoys traveling within Russia and beyond, doing yoga, and being a dilettante dentist and osteopath who is always eager to learn more about human body and interaction with the environment.
